Room 1`s Math for this week.

Talofa Lava This week I have been learning in Maths is subtraction and  and adding and using the vertical methed . the methed helps room one learn maths easyer and thatg so maths is fun for them and  Maths,  are all examples of mathematics in daily life. Many professionals also use math daily at work such as engineers, businessmen, architects, contracts, and scientists. In mathematical writing, examples are used to clarify concepts, demonstrate procedures, and illustrate principles. For instance. and “The Pythagorean theorem states that in a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides. For example, if a right-angled triangle has sides of length 3 and 4, then the hypotenuse would have a length of √(3² + 4²) = √(9 + 16) = √25 = 5.” and “A prime number is a natural number greater than 1 that has no positive divisors other than 1 and itself. Examples of prime numbers include 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, and 13.” and  mathematical expression can be as simple as 2 + 4 or as complex as . All mathematical expressions contain terms, and each term has a coefficient, the numerical factor. The terms are separated by plus or minus signs and consist of a product of the coefficient and one or more variables factors.  and that’s all for me thank you for reading my maths and thank you for your time bye.

In the End.

this week room one has been reading about Anzac and a lot more things… things like our group books. our group books names are Helping to Win the War, and  In the end, and Harry`s War, and the Lucky Tortoise. and that’s all of our reading books and we were learning about homonyms and words like that Reading” is the process of looking at a series of written symbols and getting meaning from them. When we read, we use our eyes to receive written symbols (letters, punctuation marks and spaces) and we use our brain to convert them into words, sentences and paragraphs that communicate something to us. Reading is defined as the cognitive process of decoding symbols to determine a text’s meaning. The symbols are the text itself, and the process of decoding requires that the reader quickly match a symbol or combination of symbols (letter(s)) to a sound, and then recognize the patterns of sounds that create words. and Middle English reding, from Old English ræding, “a reading, the act or process of reading” either silent or aloud, also “that which is read, a passage or lesson,” a verbal noun to go with read (v.). The meaning “interpretation, act of interpreting” is from mid-14c. (in reference to dreams).  and thank you for reading my reading blog and thank you for your time… (THE END)

INTEGRITY…

this week in kiwi can the new theme is INTEGRITY. INTEGRITY means all about doing the right thing when no one is looking and taking care of each other and being positive. and we did a little thing with the word INTEGRITY. so the 1st thing we did was we were in the hall and this was our last activity was INTEGRITY so we had to get into groups of three so I buddy up with two of my friends.

and then one of us went to go get a paper and three felts per friend. so we had 10 – 5 minutes to write a poem. with the word INTEGRITY. and we had write it going down. we had like spelling INTEGRITY. and then we had to write words to do with INTEGRITY . like  Never give up and Teamwork makes the dream work, and Everyone is cool and good vibes, and RESPONSIBILLTY, and I can do it if I keep on trying, and Thank you, remember your manners, and You are great. INTEGRITY!. and it means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. and the state of being whole and undivided, and it also means The International Center for Academic Integrity defines academic integrity as a commitment to five fundamental values: honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility. We believe that these five values, plus the courage to act on them even in the face of adversity, are truly foundational to the academy.  Being a good example of integrity means being accountable for your actions and admitting when you make mistakes. Do the right thing, do not lie, and do not dissemble. Treat everyone fairly and consistently and do not send others to do things that you yourself would not do. and that’s all for me thank you for reading my INTEGRITY
