Vocabulary – Term 1 Week 2

Monday – Meaning – What does it mean?

Traditions: Traditions are when it’s passed through  generations from a long long time ago. 

Tuesday – Use – How do I use it?

Translate: the british and the maoris back in the day they had trouble translating the British language and the Maori language.

 

Translation nowadays makes it easy because we have devices to translate to people that are new to different countries.

 

Translating back when our god fathers and our god mothers were not easy to translate because they didn’t know how to do sign language.

Wednesday – Build – How is it built?

     Root word: Shine. 

 

New word: 1 – Sunshine.

 

New word: 2 – Shiner.

 

New word: 3 – Shinemer. 

 

Explanation sentence. “ hey guys look at the sunshine up in the sky the sun is shining brighter than ever.

Thursday – Strength – How Strong is it? 

Focus word: Frustration. 

 

Frustration – Angry – Furious.

 

Explanation sentence:Furious is one of the strongest words for angry and annoyed.

 

“ William was really annoyed by his brothers. “

 

“  Jessey  was really angry because her mum and dad took away her car. “

 

“  Alex was really furious because her friends they backstaped  her and went to look for other friends.

Reflection T4

This week we had to do our Reflections my favourite Part of the Term was when we got our gifts from KPMG  because I loved what i got from them it was a rugby ball because i didn`t have a rugby ball at home. that was my favourite part of the term and if we had to pick another gift from them i would because i would get a rugby tea to hold the ball when i am kicking. and the subjects we had to do was reading and writing, maths and inquiry. and thats all for today and thank you for todays blog post and have a good day byee.

three weeks ago we had to make our own writing sample. We are learning how to Independently Reserch and structure an explanation writing sample  on our own. why did we have to do this? well because so when we get older we can already know how to write on our own, before we had to write this explanation we had to choose a title like why do we need pets, or why do we need sleep those kinda subjects we had to choose from. that is all for this blog post thank you for reading my post and see you on the next one byee.

Module 6 Ice cream

for this week in inquiry we have been doing Our ice cream modules. at first we started on module one and  than two , three, four, five and now six on six we had to make our own slides because we got to taste our ice cream that day and we were so happy when our ice cream was ready for us to taste after we tasted the ice cream the next day came and than we started on making our own slides. after we opened a google slides it took us only 2 days to do all of the hard work it was not that hard  because we worked as a team. that is all for today and thank you for reading my blog post and you have a good day Howdy.

Fake News

this week what we have been doing for cyber smart  is making fake news. what we had to do first was open our cyber smart page and go onto the Site that our teacher told us to go on after that we had to choose a  tablet or a phone to make our fake news on. I choose the tablet to do my fake news on. when i was done with that i opened my drive and open a google drawing and insert a image to put my elephats onto the image  and that is all that we did thank you for reading my blog post and have a good day.

Icecream moudle Five 5.

for the past few weeks we have been doing this ice cream challene. we have been learning lots about ice cream and how to make ice cream. we started on  module one all the way up to module 5 we got one more module to go and that is module six. we have done all of the slides on module one, two, three, four, and five. these took a long time to do all of these modules it is almost going to be the end of school so we have enough time to do module Six. i will be so happy when we do all of the modules that we have been working hard on. that is all for today and thank you for reading my blog post have a good day a byee.

Ice cream escape room.

Today me and my buddie Worked so hard doing this google slide and puting all of the links in to the right places. we thought igt was going to be hard at first but we ogt all of it done in no time it was easy he said when we were done doing all of the hard work.  it was one of the most inteanse work i ever done in my life. thats all for today and thank you for your time and for reading my blog post  byee.

ALGEBRA

this week we have been what we have been Learning  about in Maths is  Algebra. algebra is a very difficult Math to Learn because it is like high school work and some times it can be hard or you just don`t want to do it but when i first got introduced  my first thought it was that it was going to be hard but is was easy because our teacher explaned it all to my class. it was the funest and easyest math i ever done in maths. thank you for reading my Blog post fgor today and thank you for all you time and have a good day byee

Swiming Reflection.

this week we have been Learning how to swim.  you might be wondering how we got to the massy park pools? well we got to go on a van It was the school van The drive their wasn`t that far from where my school is. when we got there we had to line up in frount of the pools it was kinda hot outside but I handled it. we had to sit down on the ground to wait till the other half of our class to Come to the pools because there is not lots of seats  in the van.
